According to a Star News exclusive report on April 29, Kang Hye-won recently finalized her contract with PEACE Entertainment, a growing agency that currently houses rising actors Choi Yoon-ji and Choi Joo-eun.
Kang Hye-won first gained public attention in 2018 through Mnet’s survival show Produce 48, where she participated as a trainee under 8D Entertainment. Following her successful debut with IZ*ONE in October 2018, she remained under CJ ENM during the group’s active years until their disbandment in April 2021.
After IZ*ONE’s conclusion, Kang Hye-won returned to her original agency, 8D Entertainment, transitioning into an acting career.

Now, after approximately seven years with 8D Entertainment, Kang Hye-won has amicably parted ways and embarked on a fresh journey with PEACE Entertainment.
Kang Hye-won has already started expanding her acting resume, recently appearing in U+Mobile TV’s original series “Friendly Rivalry” earlier this year. She is reportedly reviewing potential future projects, signaling that fans can look forward to seeing more of her on-screen.
The move to PEACE Entertainment is seen as a strategic step for Kang Hye-won to solidify her position as an actress, following her successful idol career.
